Made in Mexico, Kalani Coconut Rum is made by fermenting fresh coconut milk and macerating it in Mexican sugar cane rum, creating a smooth and naturally rich spirit with authentic character.

The coconuts are sourced from OXTAPACAB, a historic colonial plantation in the Yucatán established in 1891. Once a Dutch sisal factory producing rope, the estate is now an organic plantation dedicated to growing Yellow Dwarf coconuts, prized for their exceptionally rich and creamy milk.

These coconuts are cultivated from seed before being replanted across the plantation, where they are pollinated by native stingless Mayan bees. Once harvested, they are traditionally prepared by hand, shelled using a spiked wheel known as a desconchadora, then cleaned, crushed and pressed to extract fresh coconut milk.

The milk is immediately chilled and transported exclusively for Kalani production, where it is carefully heated, filtered and blended with Mexican sugar cane rum to preserve its natural flavour and texture.

Smooth and indulgent, Kalani opens with aromas of fresh coconut and soft vanilla, leading to a creamy palate layered with gentle rum warmth and subtle sweetness. The finish is clean, rounded and naturally coconut-led.
