Crafted by Copeland Distillery on the shores of Donaghadee, County Down, this limited-edition Smugglers’ Reserve Rum Oloroso Finish showcases Copeland’s innovative approach to rum production, combining Irish craft distilling with influences from traditional Caribbean rum-making. Inspired by the historic smuggling routes of the Copeland Islands, this expression brings together light rum distilled at the distillery with rich dark rum from Barbados, creating a layered and distinctive base spirit. 

The blend is exclusively finished in a single Spanish 250L Oloroso Sherry cask, allowing the rum to absorb the rich nutty, dried fruit and warming spice characteristics of the sherry wood. This additional maturation creates greater depth, adding velvety sweetness, complexity and a luxurious finish while preserving the bold tropical character of the rum.
