Produced, matured and bottled at Virginia Distillery Co. in Lovingston, Virginia, Courage & Conviction Cuvée Cask is an American single malt made from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of four years. It is matured in European red-wine cuvée casks that undergo a shave, toast and re-char treatment, helping release additional sugars and aromas from the wood. The nose offers plum, dark raspberry, rich chocolate and clove, while the palate develops tart cherry, blood orange, cocoa and burnt sugar. Candied walnuts and ginger provide a warming finish. Perfect for: Rich, fruit-led sipping and exploring innovative American single malt.
