Crafted by Ramo de Rosas, this Joven mezcal is made from eight-year-old Agave Espadín grown in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, one of Mexico’s most respected mezcal-producing regions. The mature agave piñas are cooked slowly for up to five days to develop natural sweetness and gentle smoky character, then fermented for eight days in traditional wooden barrels before being distilled in copper stills for purity and refinement.
The result is a balanced and elegant mezcal with subtle smoke, cooked agave sweetness and layers of citrus, earth and light pepper spice. Smooth yet characterful, it offers a refined expression of traditional Oaxacan mezcal craftsmanship.
