RinQuinQuin à la Pêche
RinQuinQuin à la Pêche
Distilleries et Domaines de Provence
Crafted in Haute-Provence, France by Distilleries et Domaines de Provence, RinQuinQuin à la Pêche is a traditional Provençal aperitif made from white wine, ripe peaches from the Durance Valley and peach leaves harvested in autumn. Following a recipe dating back to the late 19th century, the peaches and leaves are macerated separately in carefully selected blends of wine and alcohol for up to 12 months before being blended and rested to create a uniquely aromatic and balanced aperitif.
Light, fruity and refreshingly elegant, it offers intense aromas of fresh peach flesh, stone fruit and delicate floral notes, complemented by subtle citrus freshness and a gentle almond-like bitterness derived from the peach leaves. The palate is soft and rounded with natural peach sweetness balanced by crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
The name “RinQuinQuin” comes from the Provençal word requinquilhar, meaning “to cheer up” or “revive”, reflecting its long-standing role as a classic southern French aperitif. More complex and less sweet than many peach liqueurs, it combines the freshness of wine with the richness of ripe fruit, making it a versatile addition to both aperitif serves and cocktails.
Perfect for: Aperitif serves, spritzes, peach-forward cocktails and summer entertaining.
