Crafted in Tequila, Jalisco by Rooster Rojo, Rooster Rojo Smoked Pineapple Añejo is an innovative expression that combines traditional tequila production with bold tropical flavour. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, the tequila is distilled at the historic Fabrica de Tequilas Finos before being matured for a minimum of 12 months in ex-Bourbon barrels. The aged tequila is then infused with premium smoked Red Spanish pineapples, following more than a year of experimentation by the distillery’s master distiller to achieve the perfect balance of fruit and smoke. 

Rich and complex, it opens with aromas of ripe banana, caramelised pineapple and gentle smoke, followed by layers of roasted agave, vanilla, oak spice and tropical fruit. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with the sweetness of smoked pineapple complementing the depth of the añejo tequila, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering smoke, spice and soft oak.
